This is My story

There is no-thing that diminshes my worth

Even my thoughts, try as they might

These thoughts are clinging to stories that are not mine

This is my story - right, wrong, good, bad

This is my story and I will own it

My story will not be like anyone else's

Even though my ego mind would have me believe...

That I must must look like something else it has seen, heard, felt, watched

This is my story, I will own it

I will delight in it, I will experiment with it

I will work on the fear, the fear of living my story

A complete unknown

There is nothing like it

Even in writing these words, I hear the chatter

My ego saying "well, these words have been written before"

But, I now argue back

These words have not been written by me

Here in this chair, within this house, on this day

So, indeed, this is my story and the words are mine

And, I like these words

I like the feeling of my fingers on the keyboard

Warm in my house on a chair that supports me
